The EPSON® i3200(8)-U1 is a UV-compatible, micro-piezo drop-on-demand printhead engineered for high precision and uptime in production environments. Its 8 independent channels enable CMYK + White + Varnish in a single, synchronized pass, delivering crisp text, smooth gradients, and premium tactile finishes (spot/overall/raised varnish). Paired with the FusionTek™ X2’s RIP waveform control, the i3200(8)-U1 supports variable-dot/grayscale jetting, optimizing coverage and edge acuity while reducing grain and ink consumption.

Ink Management & Uptime Systems — White Auto-Recirculation, Negative Pressure, Auto Maintenance

To sustain production quality, the FusionTek™ X2 integrates closed-loop white-ink recirculation, negative-pressure ink delivery, and automated maintenance routines.

White-ink auto-recirculation

• Purpose: Prevents pigment settling in high-density white by continuously moving ink through the dampers/manifold.

• Effect: Fewer nozzle dropouts, faster start-of-shift recovery, and more stable white opacity across long jobs.

Negative-pressure ink delivery

• Purpose: Maintains the correct meniscus at the nozzle plate, stabilizing drop formation and reducing drip or starvation.

• Effect: Consistent dot placement across speed ramps and long panels; improved reliability with UV viscosities.

Automated maintenance

• Auto cap & purge: Seals the head to reduce solvent evaporation and runs timed purges to clear micro-bubbles.

• Programmable cleans: Light/medium/heavy sequences aligned to usage; minimizes downtime and ink waste.

Best-practice notes

• Use approved, properly degassed UV inks.

• Follow the platform’s maintenance schedule (shift/daily/weekly).

• Keep ambient temp/RH in the recommended band for consistent viscosity and cure.

Media Sensing, Object Height & Anti-Collision — Precision Gap Control

Consistent quality in UV printing depends on the carriage-to-media gap (C2G) and accurate media detection. The FusionTek™ X2 includes a non-contact height/distance sensor, Z-axis micro-adjust, and crash-guard/anti-collision logic to protect the head and preserve registration.

Object/height sensing & Z-axis control

• Non-contact sensing: Scans media height/profile before print and at job start to set the optimal C2G.

• Fine Z-adjust: Sub-millimeter increments maintain a stable gap for multilayer stacking (White → Color → Varnish).

• Warp compensation: Helps mitigate slight media curl to reduce head strikes and banding.

Anti-collision & crash protection

• Crash bar/sensors: Pause on obstruction to protect the nozzle plate.

• Safe recoveries: Guided routines resume printing with minimal registration impact.

• Job integrity: Reduced risk of scuffing or ink smearing on raised areas or uneven substrates.

Why it matters

• Layer accuracy: Proper gap control is critical for white underbase registration and crisp varnish edges.

Warranty term: 1-Year Limited Warranty on the unit’s build and machinery (chassis and motion system) and on covered electronics (mainboards, power supply, motors, drivers, sensors, wiring harnesses).

Exclusions: No warranty on printheads and any ink-wetted components (“anywhere ink flows or touches”).
Ink policy: Using inks other than the supplier/manufacturer-recommended UV inks voids the warranty.
After-care: Lifetime Service & Support (post-warranty support for the life of the product; parts/labor billed as applicable).

Not Covered

• Printhead(s): EPSON® i3200(8) printheads are excluded from warranty (treated as consumables/precision components subject to handling, media and ink chemistry).

• Ink system (“anywhere where ink is”): dampers, caps/capping station, wipers, pumps, tubes/hoses, filters, manifolds, ink tanks, valves, seals, o-rings.

• Consumables & wear parts: wiper blades, caps, filters, fuses, maintenance fluids, UV-DTF films, jigs, rollers.

• UV curing optics: bulbs/LED arrays damaged by contamination/impact; normal output decay.

• User-caused issues: head strikes, media collisions, spills/contamination, improper storage, inadequate ventilation, power surges, water/fire, corrosion, physical damage.

• Software/RIP settings: incorrect profiles, color misconfiguration, third-party plugins.

• Logistics & site issues: unstable tables/ stands, poor power quality (lack of AVR/UPS/grounding), out-of-spec ambient temperature/humidity, dust and fumes.

Conditions That Void Warranty

• Non-approved inks/fluids: Use of any ink, flush, cleaner, or additive not approved/recommended by the supplier/manufacturer; mixing brands or chemistries; refilling procedures that bypass filters or introduce air/contaminants.

• Unauthorized service/mods: Break seals, firmware hacks, third-party boards, non-original wiring or mechanical modifications.

• Improper installation/operation: Not following installation checklist, preventive maintenance schedule, or operating the machine outside published limits.

• Tampered serials: Removed, altered, or unreadable serial/ID labels.

Customer Responsibilities

• Proper site power: Stable, grounded supply with AVR/UPS as recommended.

• Environment: Keep within specified temperature/humidity, clean airflow around UV-LED curing modules.

• Preventive maintenance: Follow the daily/weekly schedules (nozzle checks, wipes, caps, filtration).

• Approved supplies: Use only recommended UV inks and maintenance fluids.

• Training adherence: Operate as trained (RIP profiles, head-height checks, media handling, purges, storage).

How to Obtain Warranty Service

• Report the issue: Provide serial number, purchase date, photos/videos, error logs, and steps to reproduce.

• Remote diagnosis: We guide basic checks (power, cables, sensors, voltages, logs).

• Authorization: If covered, we issue an RMA/Job Order and arrange onsite or depot service depending on the case.

• Repair/replace: Covered parts repaired or replaced at no charge during the warranty term (excluding logistics if applicable).

• Return to service: Functional test, alignment, and documentation.

Note: Onsite availability may vary by location. Depot or ship-in options may apply for certain electronic repairs.

Lifetime Service & Support

• Remote support for life: Best-effort guidance via phone, chat, or remote desktop for diagnostics, RIP settings, and workflow questions.

• Onsite service: Available post-warranty; labor and parts are billable at current rates.

• Genuine parts & upgrades: Access to approved spares, maintenance kits, and recommended updates.

• Refresher training: Paid refresher courses for new staff or new workflows (UV-DTF R2R, direct-to-object, varnish techniques).

Limitations of Liability

This Limited Warranty is your exclusive remedy. The supplier/manufacturer and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including lost profits/production). Liability is limited to the amount paid for the product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; local consumer laws may grant additional rights.

Effective Date & Scope

• Applies to: Binru FusionTek™ X2 units purchased from authorized channels in the Philippines.

• Warranty term: 12 months from invoice date or installation/commissioning (whichever comes first), unless otherwise stated in your sales order.

• Documentation: Keep your invoice, delivery/installation report, and maintenance records—these may be required for claims.
